This easy oven Chicken Parmesan is a delicious go-to meal to cook for our families and for parents that recently had a baby. There are several different ways to make Chicken Parmesan, but my favorite way to cook them is by baking them in the oven. It’s fairly simple to make and the end result is fabulous. I was introduced to the recipe when one of my best friend’s had her baby. My other best friend and I decided to cook this meal for her family so they could sit back and enjoy the joys of being a new parent without having to sacrifice enjoying a home-cooked meal.
It’s been four years since my friend had her baby girl and this recipe has turned into a signature recipe in our household. I can’t help but think of that little baby and the labor of love we had for her entire family. This recipe makes great leftovers and tastes wonderful reheated.
Easy Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan Recipe
Baked Chicken Parmesan recipe ingredients
- Chicken Breasts
- Marinara Sauce
- Signature Kitchens Italian Seasoning Breadcrumbs
- Signature Kitchens Angel Hair Pasta
- Parmesan & Mozzarella Cheese
- Flour
- Olive Oil
- Eggs
- Milk
Chicken Parmesan instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place chicken breasts in a gallon size freezer bag. Use a meat tenderizer to flatten the chicken inside the bag. Set aside.
Gather three bowls. In a bowl, mix eggs with milk and place flour in another bowl. Place breadcrumbs in a separate bowl. Place chicken in flour. Next, place chicken in the egg bath, and last in the breadcrumbs. Set the chicken aside.
Pour olive oil on a skillet and heat on medium high. Pan fry chicken breasts for four minutes on each side.
Bake chicken for 20-30 minutes covered in foil.
Five minutes before chicken is done, remove the dish from oven and top the chicken with marina sauce and cheese. Bake for enough time for cheese to melt.
