Finally focused to get back to some serious work and this happens. It’s like they sense when I need to focus my attention on something else. I’m used to the constant interruptions but my new co-worker aka husband is not. I won’t lie I’m getting a bit of satisfaction seeing him realize how hard it truly is to work at home with kids. Although I’m used to it, throwing in homeschool has been different. Last week was a disaster but this week we are getting into our groove. If you are struggling, it gets easier if you are kind to yourself and give yourself a bit of grace. Let go of the guilt and do what works for you. It’s survival mode right now. Wait for the end! It brought me so much joy on a day where I started out in a funk! I cleaned the house like a mad woman and then slumped on the couch still in jammies at 3 pm. Chad told me to get my ass up because we were going outside to get some sun! I didn’t want to, but I’m glad I did. I would’ve missed out on Drew’s first solo drive! I also rode a real bike for the first time in years. Felt like I was a kid again. Life looks different now but it’s not all that bad. Hoping I wake up in a better mood tomorrow. What a rollercoaster of emotions.
