Our family visited the Gaylord Texan ICE! exhibit last year and had a fantastic time. I was so impressed by the hard work that was put into creating this unique holiday masterpiece. I’ve never seen anything like it. Over time I didn’t notice that is was a chilly 9 degrees inside.

From an incredible land of ice and snow halfway around the world, a remarkably talented team of artisans travels to Grapevine, Texas — just to create the amazing ICE! featuring ‘Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer attraction at Gaylord Texan Resort! This band of master carvers spends nearly a month, taking shifts inside a 9-degree freezer, to transform two million pounds of ice into a breathtaking masterpiece.
Guests can experience favorite scenes from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer brought to life in this walk-through winter wonderland carved from more than two million pounds of colorful ice.

If you have a chance to stay overnight or time to walk throughout Gaylord Texan, do it. We loved exploring the sights and sounds of the resort. There are so many photo opportunities and every minute feels and looks like the holiday spirit. It’s truly magical.
