These Red velvet cookies are incredibly easy to make and so delicious! If you are short on time but want delicious cookies that takes less than thirty minutes, this red velvet cookies recipe is for you! Omit the red food coloring and go straight for a red velvet cake mix to save time but not to skip on flavor.
The classic red velvet cake never disappoints. It only makes sense that I love to make these red velvet cookies for Valentine’s Day parties and sometimes I serve them as Christmas cookies during the holiday season. I add holiday sprinkles instead of white hearts and bring them to cookie exchanges.
These cookies are soft, chewy, and bold with a festive red color. My kids love to place the heart sprinkles in the mix – so much so that I have to make sure they don’t go overboard.
