Why not? This Mom’s First Day of Back to Sanity Sign proves that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
If you know me, you know I don’t take life or parenthood too seriously. I love my children with all my heart. Most of our Summer days were over-the-moon exciting. I don’t take that for granted. I am blessed to have a flexible schedule that allows me to stay home with the kids.
While most days were great, some days were really tough. Combine a teething toddler who loves to get into everything with an energetic, independent daughter and you get a tired mom who could use a little bit of a break.
I think we are all ready for our new school routine. Even though I am still in denial that my baby girl is growing up so quickly! When did that happen?
I am ready to be able to use the restroom in peace, take a phone call, get a pedicure or simply binge on Netflix. Don’t judge or do, I don’t care.
I also know that once school starts I will have days where I long for the Summer days of being carefree and not on a schedule.
