Hilton Anatole JadeWaters is a hidden gem located in Dallas, Texas, and is a great option for Texas families looking for a staycation nearby. Surrounded by busy city life, the lush landscaping of the water attraction gives the illusion you are transported elsewhere. I have partnered with them for over four years now including a trip to celebrate our anniversary, a girls’ weekend, and plenty of family staycations. It’s become an annual tradition to visit. Even though this Summer looks different thanks to the pandemic, I felt comfortable visiting JadeWaters due to their heightened health and safety measures. Keep reading to find what I observed and if you think this is a good fit for your family to visit. This is a sponsored post and all opinions are my own.

JadeWaters features
4,000 sq ft Leisure Cove Pool with 23-seat Swim-Up Bar – No one was allowed to sit at the seats. Once you ordered your drink you had to swim away and keep your distance from others. Staff was wearing face coverings including our cabana attendee and the person who checked us into the pool area.
7,000 sq ft Kids Play & Splash Area 630-foot Lazy River – Lifeguards are on duty and wearing face coverings.
Two 180-foot Winding Water Slides – There is an attendant on top of the slides who also wore a face covering. I saw them cleaning the steps during one of my turns. I never had to wait a long time to go down the slide.

Conclusion
Visiting JadeWaters during coronavirus felt different, but it wasn’t bad. We enjoyed our time there like we always do! I appreciated seeing the staff wearing masks, guests maintaining social distancing as best as they could, and the additional cleaning.
Although we missed the live entertainment, scheduled kids games and activities, the JadeWaters pool and lazy river never disappoint. It’s always been the main draw for us. We needed a change of scenery and the lush trees, artwork and landscaping deliver. Our staycation at JadeWaters brought us joy and felt safe to us. I have never left feeling regret, and this time is no different.

We were there this weekend. We’ve been before Covid, but this was the first time since. It was fun! However, they limit 1 towel per person and are charging for water and cups of ice. That to me was ridiculous!!! Ice!!! You can get ice and water free in the hotel… I understand charging for bottled water… most places do., but a cup of ice… no!

Oh wow! That is weird! Sorry that happened! They used to have water stations throughout but I guess they stopped doing that since COVID started.
