Thank you JadeWaters Hilton Anatole for hosting our stay. All opinions are my own.
If there was ever a time for a girls getaway it is now. Or at least for me it was.
I haven’t left the house overnight in three months since my sweet baby boy was born. Granted, it’s been a special time for our family, but momma needed a break.
I needed girl talk, pampering, pool time, and foodie fun.
JadeWaters Hilton Anatole to the rescue!
JadeWaters is the Dallas Hilton Anatole’s resort pool complex that is exclusively for hotel guests. It wasn’t hard to convince my girl friends to make the trip when I listed all the amenities included. Plus, they got the opportunity to hang out with yours truly. Who would pass that up? (I kid!)
Let me tell you about my friends that drove out of town last minute to share this experience with me. We have been friends since high school. Without telling you my age, that’s a long time! We were friends before life got so hectic and filled with adult responsibilities. The beautiful thing about our friendships is that we can pick up right where we left off. These are the types of friendships you cherish and hold on to tightly.
Regardless of the season of your friendships, a stay at the Dallas Anatole is a great way to celebrate your sisterhood.
And, there’s no reason to leave the hotel because there’s so many fun things to do on site.
Not a shortage of fun at JadeWaters Hilton Anatole
Relax at the V-Spa
Before we hit the pool, we visited the VSpa for pampering. We toasted the kick off of our day while getting much needed pedicures and manicures. The staff was fantastic and fun! There was plenty of giggling and laughing to be had. Guests can choose from a variety of soothing services and treatments, from facials and massages to manicures and pedicures.
Fantastic food and drink selection poolside
Shortly after our pampering, we hit up Jade Waters Grill & Bar for drinks and lunch. From appetizers to full meals, the pool side menu offers a variety of options. We opted for the Turkey rolls and fruit for lunch. Later, we vegged on Spring Rolls and Loaded Nachos for a late afternoon snack. The drink menu is intense, but in a good way! My favorite drink was the Skinny Cucumber Lemonade that was a refreshing and light drink that was the perfect way to combat the humid Texas weather.
We went straight to the 23-seat swim up bar in the Leisure Cove Pool. It’s reserved for adults only!
There is a splash and play area for kids as well as a lazy river and water slides to entertain the littles.
If you desire privacy, consider renting a private cabana or daybed.
Spectacular service and views of the Dallas skyline

Once pool time was over it was time for us to get dressed up for dinner at the stunning SER Steakhouse. I had been there once before to celebrate my anniversary, so I was excited to share this experience with my friends.
Chef Mike Shetsky created a special menu that included a few surprises along the way. Imagine Pop-Rocks in your salad! Our menu started out with delicious crab cakes, a salad duo – one that included the pop-rocks in the breadcrumbs and a savory tuna poke with a splendid presentation. The main course offered scallops or flank steak with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. (See SER Menu here)
Chef Shetsky’s creative cooking style coupled with his exceptional customer service made our dining experience unforgettable. With the breathtaking Dallas skyline view in the background, we toasted to friendship, great wine and amazing food!
I didn’t think that our dinner date could get any better until Elvis arrived. The grand finale was the arrival of the Valrohna Chocolate “Elvis”.
I have never tasted anything like it. The bold and rich chocolate flavors along with the salty and crispy bacon created a flavor that is indescribable.
Cheers to having someone else cook and not having to do dishes afterwards! (A Mom’s dream!)
In-Room Dining

After a night of uninterrupted sleep (that’s a vacation enough for a sleep deprived momma), we ordered breakfast in our jammies. From Eggs Benedict to a Nutella French Toast, the breakfast menu offered variety for different tastes. A girl could get used to this! During our breakfast, we were talking about our next trip and bringing back more friends.
Our time at JadeWaters Hilton Anatole went by quickly but was much needed. It was enough time for me to get a short break for some ‘me’ time with friends. Parenthood is all about balance. Sometimes we need a break and time to celebrate life’s accomplishments. For me, it was my time to toast to surviving the newborn stage and feeling like myself again.
I believe that absence makes the heart grow fonder and it gives us time to recharge.
I snuggled with my kids all day long. My husband gave me a huge hug telling me he was so thankful for all that I do on a daily basis! (Mission Accomplished!)
Now it’s my husband’s turn for a break… May I suggest JadeWaters Hilton Anatole?
