The hardest part of making this simple Halloween treat is washing all the fruit before you serve. I say hard only because it can be time-consuming, but it’s definitely necessary!
Yes, you read that correctly and no you don’t need some sort of Halloween spell to make it happen. Making Halloween fruit is so easy! So simple you can get your kids in on the fun as I did. She offered to wash the fruit for me! I did not have to cast a spell to make that happen either. I love this age because kids generally love to help out in the kitchen.
Halloween treat supplies
- Clear mini plastic cups (Bonus points if you can find them with lids to pack in your child’s lunch boxes)
- Black permanent marker
- Various fruit: bananas, tangerines, grapes, cantaloupe
- Jumbo Marshmallows
How to make Halloween fruit party cups
First, wash fruits.
Fill clear cups with one fruit each using Jumbo Marshmallows or grapes for the eyeballs. The pumpkin and ghost fruit cups I only drew the eyes on the front.
Draw faces on the front of clear cups using a permanent marker.
Optional: secure lid to top if you plan to eat them later.
Serve!
