Day 1: Check In & Cheers to the Long Weekend
Where to Stay for a Charleston Girls Trip
Check into The Ryder Hotel, a stylish boutique stay right in the heart of downtown Charleston. With cozy-chic rooms, a lively pool area, and walkable access to shops and restaurants, it’s a favorite for girls trips and weekend getaways.

Dinner at Husk Charleston
Start your weekend right with dinner at Husk, one of the most iconic restaurants in the city. Known for its upscale Southern cuisine, this is where Charleston’s food scene truly shines.

Cocktails at The Vendue Rooftop

Charleston City Market is like stepping into the living soul of the city—where art, food, history, and culture come together. Plan ahead, wear comfy shoes, bring a little cash, and get ready to find treasures and stories around every corner! Plan to spend 1 – 2 hours exploring over 300 vendors!

Lunch at Fleet Landing
Grab lunch at Fleet Landing Restaurant and Bar, a waterfront gem with seafood and unbeatable harbor views.

Don’t miss out on trying their signature stuffed hush puppies.

Afternoon exploring
Lace up your comfy shoes for a self-guided walking tour through the French Quarter, including iconic stops like:

Dinner at The Ordinary
Seafood towers, cocktails, and vintage vibes await at The Ordinary, one of Charleston’s most acclaimed raw bars.

Girls Night Out
Hit up The Cocktail Club for curated drinks and finish the night dancing at Henry’s Rooftop with live music and city lights. Our waitress at The Ordinary recommended these spots for cocktails: Dalila’s, Belmont, The Commodore, Burn’s Alley Tavern, Lucky Luchador, and The Bangkok Lounge.
Day 3: Walking Tour, Shopping & Spooky Fun
Historic Tour
Lace up your comfy shoes for a historic walking tour through the historic and residential areas of downtown, visiting locations including the Four Corners of Law, Rainbow Row, the Battery, and more. I highly recommend booking a tour through Bulldog Tours. We learned so much about Charleston through the professional tour guide.

Lunch at Meeting at Market
Meeting at Market is where sports, sip-worthy drinks, and classic pub comfort come together in Charleston’s historic downtown.
Afternoon Shopping on King Street
Spend the afternoon exploring King Street, Charleston’s famous shopping district. Don’t miss:

Haunted Pub Crawl
End your night with a Haunted Pub Crawl through Charleston’s historic streets. Sip cocktails in between spots while hearing spooky tales and ghostly legends. Please note that you can not open carry alcoholic beverages in Charleston. We met at The Griffon, Charleston’s oldest pub, before our ghost tour.

Brunch at Poogan’s Porch
A Charleston classic, Poogan’s Porch delivers hearty brunch favorites with Southern flair.

Don’t forget to order the yardbird benedict shown below. It was delicious!
