Making Rolo pretzel turtles has become one of our family holiday traditions. This holiday treat only requires three ingredients: Rolos, pretzels, and pecans. Take some bites for yourself to enjoy a blend of salt and sweetness. Gift the rest to your friends, family, and neighbors. My kids also love making Rolo Pretzel Reindeers too! They are so cute and everyone loves them!

Ingredients
- 1 (11 oz) bag Rolo candies
- Mini pretzels
- Pecan Halves
Recipe instructions
To make these turtle pretzel bites you will first need to line an 18×13 inch cookie sheet with parchment paper. Check out these pre-cut non-stick parchment paper sheets to save time.
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
Place the mini pretzels throughout the cookie sheet with one Rolo on top of each pretzel.
Place the cookie sheet in the oven for approximately four minutes when the chocolate and caramel have melted a bit.
Remove from the oven and immediately place a pecan in the center of each chocolate piece. My kids wanted to make theirs with M&M pieces (hence why they are also included in this photo.
Next, carefully place the cooking sheet into the refrigerator to chill. Once the chocolate is set, serve, or store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy! I love to gift these to neighbors in friends in these festive containers. It’s always a popular Christmas dessert item.
Can you freeze rolo pretzel treats?
You can freeze Rolo pretzels for up to a few months. I recommend laying them in one single layer so they do not stick together.
