Recipe Variations
There are some different ways to make this recipe:
- Do you have extra time? Consider making homemade cinnamon rolls instead of premade cinnamon rolls.
- Add additional food coloring to make the frosting a darker green color.
- Cut the cinammon roll dough into heart shapes before you bake in the oven. This may be easier than cutting the baked bread.
Can you use regular food coloring?
Yes, you can use regular food coloring drops. However, I have found the color isn’t as vibrant as gel food coloring.
