After eating this meal for the millionth time (because we love it so much), I decided it was time to share this easy Breakfast Bake recipe! It’s our family’s go-to breakfast. Even Reese, who can be a picky eater, loves this dish.
We made ours with sausage today, but we have made it with bacon and ham on other occasions.
The breakfast bake makes great leftovers! Just heat it in the microwave for 45 seconds and enjoy!

This looks delicious! I love breakfast so much and it kills me to sacrifice deliciousness during the week. I’d definitely make this on Sunday night and have it for quick and tasty weekday breakfasts. One question: I’m envisioning making this with Pillsbury biscuits – did you cook them first or use the dough uncooked? Thanks!
Michelle Hancock says
Thank you! Cut them uncooked 🙂 I should’ve written that … I will change that now 🙂

Does the biscuit dough “rise” to the top or did you arrange the dough pieces on top before baking? Either way, these pictures are gorgeous and I’m making this real soon. YUM!!!!!
Michelle Hancock says
Nicole,
Thanks for stopping by! It magically just works out. No need to arrange, just mix together in the bowl and pour it out as it falls and the dough pieces will mold together 🙂 It’s awesome!

This looks yummy! I’m thinking of making it for a brunch themed baby shower. Have you ever tried doubling or making a bigger batch? I’m wondering how it would turn out.
Michelle Hancock says
Thanks for stopping by! It is a go-to meal for the breakfast and it makes great leftovers too! I have not doubled the recipe yet, but that is a great idea! I am sure it would taste great. I would cook it a bit longer and just stay next to the oven to keep an eye on it! Thanks for reading! Good luck and let me know how it turns out!

Your photos of this casserole are wonderful! How did you get it out of the 9×13 dish and onto a platter?
Michelle Hancock says
Hi Leslie,
I used non stick spray on the dish before I baked it. Then, I used a spatula to cut it out and slowly lifted it up onto a dish. It worked well!
