Happy New Year! This year was tough but we are so Happy New Year! This year was tough but we are so thankful for the extra time we spent together as a family. 2020 taught me a lot about myself and what kind of life I want to live right now and once the pandemic is over. Last year we hosted a party on NYE and I’m sure we opened a portal to this chaos. This year is much different. Tonight we will most likely be in bed by 10 pm and I am okay with that! We are currently in mismatched jammies at 5 pm. 😜 Cheers to a new year and whatever that will look like! I’m not picking a new word nor am I doing resolutions for the first time in years. I have no expectations but keeping hope alive that things will get better and we can gather and hug once again soon. Praying for those who are hurting and struggling right now. Things will get better... they simply have to! Let’s go, 2021.

Fun story about these cards. I almost didn’t pri Fun story about these cards. I almost didn’t print them. Our family didn’t get professional photos made, I dropped the ball on printing them until I ran across a really good deal. I found the template and some photos of us just being us. It was supposed to be same day pick up but their printer broke and stayed that way for two days. This company gave them to us for free for the delay. I got home and didn’t love the quality of the paper. Almost embarrassed to send them out because it was last minute and it was not “perfect” I told myself to let go of perfectionism. We have NEVER been the the perfect family and that’s okay because that doesn’t exist. These cards fit in exactly with 2020. It’s not perfect but everything that is important to me is more evident now than ever before. Merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for loving and supporting our perfectly imperfect family. Stop comparing your family to others and let’s all be grateful for what we have. Thank you for the reminder unnamed company/pharmacy that always gives really long receipts as a parting gift 😂
