Four Superhero Slime Recipes
Iron Man Themed Slime
Iron Man Slime Supplies
- 6 fl oz Glitter Glue – Red
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup liquid starch
- Gold stars and glitter
Instructions for slime
Mix the glue and water together in one bowl. (Mix to combine completely)
Next, add the glitter.
Then, add the liquid starch and as you stir you will definitely see the mixture start to form into a slimy substance.
Once it becomes hard to mix with a spoon, use your hands to knead the slime and transfer it to a clean, dry container such as a Ziploc® Twist ‘n Loc® Container.
My daughter played with the slime right away, but after 15- 30 minutes it was more of a slime substance and not as stringy.
Captain America Themed Slime
Supplies for slime
- (3) 6 fl oz Glue – White
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup liquid starch
- Red and Blue Food Coloring to make the blue and red slime.
Instructions for slime
Follow the Iron Man slime recipe above to make the red, white and blue slimes in separate containers. Add food coloring to the blue and red slime. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to thicken.
Place one section of each color in a row next to each other: Red, white and blue. Combine together, but be careful not to mix or knead it as the color will mix and turn purple.
Guardians of the Galaxy Themed Slime
Supplies for galaxy slime
- 6 fl oz Glitter Glue – Pink
- 6 fl oz Glitter Glue – Purple
- 6 fl oz Glitter Glue – Blue
- Baking Soda
- Contact Lens Solution
Find three different containers to mix your slime in.
To make slime for each of the glitter glues:
a. Pour out an entire bottle of glue into each container.
b. Add ½ tbsp of baking soda and mix.
c. Add 1 1/4 tbsp of contact lens solution.
d. Mix until mixture begins to get harder to mix and slime begins to form.
e. Take the slime out and begin kneading with both of your hands.
f. If it’s too sticky, continue adding ¼ tbsp contact lens solution and knead.
Once all three slimes have been created, lay the three slimes on top of each other.
Begin to knead and twist! If you knead too much, it will become one color (mainly purple).
Isn’t this slime out of this world? I couldn’t help myself with that pun. It is beautiful and definitely one of my favorites.

Sorry to hear that Ruth! We try to keep it outside or near tile.
