I appreciated how clean the rooms were. Housekeeping made our visit extra special by placing the kids’ stuffed animals like so. It’s the little details that I always appreciate. I enjoyed the waterfall shower. What an added bonus to enjoy after being out at the pool all day.
The Westin recently made renovations to the interior and it looks great. There are certain areas of the hotel that really stick out in a good way. The lobby and sitting areas are gorgeous. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt like I was on a luxurious vacation. The hallways are lined with spectacular art pieces. See more photos of resort
Things to Do at Westin Dallas Stonebriar
Experience family fun with your family and friends at the beautiful Westin Dallas. From indoor to outdoor play, this resort has a variety of active and relaxing activities to please patrons of all ages. Our friends tagged along with us making this destination a fun multi-family travel option.
Westin Outdoor Pool
The newly enhanced Westin outdoor swimming pool is a must-visit for families. This 200-foot lagoon-style pool has a splash pad, water slide, whirlpool, private cabanas, and poolside bar. The water temperature was perfect on a hot summer day and I was worried it would feel like a bathtub. It was very refreshing! Towels are provided so no need to bring your own. This pool is clean and a great getaway during the hot summer days.
Water slide
There is a water slide with a lifeguard that kids and adults can enjoy.
Kids splash pad
The kids splash and play zone includes water features designed to entertain young children. There are four basketball hoops located in a smaller pool nearby for kids and adults to play water sports.
Poolside bar
Ranch Water is the poolside bar that serves frozen drinks, and offers a menu of tasty foods. The kids’ menu is small and some of the menu items are a bit upscale with more seasonings. If you have picky eaters, be prepared to order from the adult menu which costs more money.

Private Cabanas
Consider renting a private cabana during your stay. Guests can rent a small or large cabana depending on your party’s size. We loved having the shaded cabana on one of the hottest days of the Summer. We were also welcomed with a nice ice bucket filled with fun surprises and bottled water. All cabanas have comfortable sofa seating, cable tv on a flat-screen tv, and a fan.
Spa
The Well & Being is a full-service spa located inside the resort. Besides soaking in the sun, escaping to this gorgeous spa was my favorite part. They offer several services including massages, facials, and body treatments. I was very relaxed and recharged after my Balance CBD massage. I can’t recommend it enough! View services here.
Topgolf Swing Suite
We had the best time at the Topgolf Swing Suite. Inside this private area, guests are greeted with a massive screen and a selection of exciting virtual games including golf, football, soccer, and more. The kid’s favorite activity was a zombie game.
Topgolf Swing Suite is a great date night or family night out activity. Make sure you wear tennis shoes to compete in the soccer game. The Fee: $25/hr Mon-Wed, $50/hr Thurs-Sun. Book a tee time on OpenTable. Note: Guests do not have to have a hotel reservation to book a reservation.
Dinner can be enjoyed at the same time thanks to Herd and Hearth – the restaurant nearby. We enjoyed an array of delicious menu items and cocktails. Our favorite cocktails included the Lemon Blush and Summer Smash.
The Charred Avocado Smash and the Stonebriar Texas Bison Burger were instant hits with our group.
Fitness Center
Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week the WestinWORKOUT fitness center features TRX equipment, free weights, cardiovascular equipment, weight Machines, strength Equipment, and rowing machines.
Outdoor recreation
Explore the resort’s beautiful grounds. There is an activity lawn adjacent to the pool featuring life-size Jenga, checkers, cornhole, and more. It’s truly a sight to be seen – the landscaping and views of the golf course are beautiful.
