The Almay Simply American bus tour made a stop at the State Fair of Texas and I was invited along with one of my best friends to enjoy an afternoon of free makeup touch-ups with super fun and talented Almay makeup artists! We also had a blast playing games and learning about all the amazing Almay products.
The Almay #SimplyAmerican Tour in Dallas
I will admit, I arrived with light makeup on already, but they touched up my makeup and I left feeling very glamorous. Below you can see what products they used on my face. I loved the lipstick and how my eyes looked bigger. (I suffer from small eyes syndrome! ha ha)
My bestie and I had a blast getting pampered in the cool conditioned Almay bus. The makeup artists treated us like local celebrities and we were soaking it up. Every girl deserves to feel beautiful even when you are sweating your butt off at the State Fair of Texas.
As much fun as we were having trying on makeup and getting glam, there is even more reason to celebrate women that have sacrificed so much to serve our county, our Veterans.
Earlier that day, the Almay team pampered and honored select women of the U.S. military and will be headed to Fort Hood and Austin next to continue the Almay Simply American Experience! What a great way to give back to those who fight so hard to protect our country’s freedom! These women are truly inspiring and they desire all of the pampering and relaxation they can get.
Almay also had several activities, games and giveaway for their visitors that we took advantage of. A blogger can’t resist a great photo opportunity which brings me to another great thing that Almay is doing for those who have served our country…
Almay will donate a $1 towards Veterans for every #SimplyAmerican tag on social media, so please do your part and share your #SimplyAmerican moment on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Be sure to include the hashtag mentioned above.
Hence, why I took so many photos and blew up your social media channels over the weekend. I was doing it for the Veterans and you should too!
