This Taco Soup recipe is our family go-to meal when we are looking for something quick and easy to make. Everyone devours this meal in our family! Another great perk about this meal is that it makes great leftovers and some would say tastes better that way! You can make this recipe using a slow cooker or by dumping all the ingredients into a pot on the stovetop.
Easy Taco Soup Recipe
My entire family loves to eat this soup! I save the leftovers for lunch later in the week.
Taco Soup ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground Beef with taco seasoning
- 1 can of fiesta corn
- 1 can ranch style pinto beans
- 1 15 oz can of tomato soup
- 1 can of cheddar cheese soup
- 1 can of Rotel
- 1/2 can of water
- 1 package of ranch dip mix
- Optional: Fritos, cheese, avocados and sour cream for toppings.
How to make Taco Soup
Cook ground beef and season with taco seasoning (follow directions of taco seasoning package)
Mix all the ingredients including the cooked ground beef in a pot on the stovetop or a slow cooker.
Cook on medium heat on the stovetop in a big pot for 30 minutes or in a slow cooker on low heat for four hours.
Add Fritos, cheese, avocados and sour cream to garnish your soup! Serve warm and enjoy! This taco soup recipe can easily be heated later and served as leftovers.

- Mix all the ingredients including the cooked ground beef in a crockpot.
- Cook on medium on the stove in a big pot for 30 minutes. (Note: you can cook on low for at least 4 hours in the crockpot)
- Add Fritos, cheese, avacados and sour cream to garnish your soup!
- Enjoy!
