Did you know that PEEPS playdough is a real thing? I have heard of making homemade playdough but I had no idea you could do so with PEEPS.
Making play dough with the classic and delicious Easter treat is so easy. It only requires three ingredients!
Do you love to eat Peeps? I know you either love them or dislike them. I love to do crafts with them, but I am not a fan of eating them. My daughter and I had a messy, but fun time and I want to let you in on the fun too!
PEEPS Playdough Recipe
Supplies for each color of playdough:
In a microwavable bowl place peeps, coconut oil and corn starch together.
Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Add food coloring as desired. The more drops the darker the color.
Mix all the ingredients with a spoon.
Once the mixture is cool, use your hands to knead the dough.
(Obvious disclaimer: Do not let your kid hand mix the content until it’s cool so they don’t burn themselves)
Add cornstarch if the mixture is too sticky. I also added more food coloring to make the color pop more.
Once your peep playdough cools, let your kid(s) get in on the kneading action.
