The Oscar award show is one of my favorite nights of the year! Seeing the glitz, glamour, and beautiful gowns is just a part of the fun. Get movie buffs excited and involved in Hollywood’s biggest night. This Oscars bingo game is so much fun to play.

Oscar Bingo Cards

This free Oscar-inspired bingo game includes eight bingo cards. Each unique bingo card includes 25 squares including one free space and Oscar-inspired moments such as the winner exits the wrong way, a standing ovulation happens, or a wardrobe malfunction occurring during an acceptance speech. Anything can happen during these live award shows.

Supplies

• White Paper or Cardstock – I find cardstock paper looks best and makes the colors really pop!
• Printer
• Pens or pencils
• Bingo chips or dot art markers – use to mark squares on the game cards.

Activity Prep

• First, download and print the cards for all your party guests.
• Then, pass out a different bingo card and bingo chips to each player. I like to include little bags of popcorn with each game card to keep the guests happy and full.
• Another option is to have players choose their own game cards.
• Before the Oscars broadcasts live make sure players know how to play the game.

The 94th Academy Awards happens at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday, March 27th, 2022. The 2022 Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC 8 p.m. E.T.

How to play Oscars Bingo

Here are the most popular ways to play bingo:

• Traditional Bingo – Players who fill a row, column, or diagonal can call Bingo!
• Four Corners –  Players must fill the squares that are the four corners of the bingo card to win.
• Full House – Players must fill all squares on the card to win.
• Letter Patterns – Players must fill the squares to indicate a particular letter, Popular letters are W, Z, E, L, and X.

Decide which game you will play before your Oscar party begins. The first player to win yells “BINGO”. Consider awarding the winner a prize.
