A melton crayon pumpkin is the perfect fall activity. During our girls’ weekend, we decided to decorate pumpkins and we had a blast! It was very easy and the end result was a colorful and unique pumpkin that I could place on my front porch. If you are looking for a kids’ fall activity that doesn’t include carving a pumpkin, this is for you.

Melted Crayon Pumpkin Idea Instructions
Glue the crayons near the top of the pumpkin using Glue Dots or Tacky Glue. This will keep the crayons in place while you melt them.
Use a hairdryer to melt crayons. Be patient as the melting does not happen right away. This may take a few minutes.
Tilt the pumpkin to direct the wax to melt around the pumpkin. This process is so incredibly easy. The options are endless when it comes to what colors you choose to melt on your pumpkin.
Let the crayons dry completely. Feast your eyes on your unique faux pumpkin.
