I received a littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.
Do you know someone that is a huge Star Wars fan, is creative and loves to build things? I have found the perfect toy for them.
During the Thor Ragnarok Event we had the opportunity to get our hands on the littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit. littleBits makes a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks empowering everyone to create inventions, large and small including the R2D2 droid.
From my observation all of the grown-ups including myself were geeking out over the droids.
What about kids? Would they enjoy building and playing with this new toy?
With the help of my daughter’s Star Wars obsessed friend (and his family since he is below the recommended age group), they put the littleBits inventor kit to the test. (My own daughter will also put the droid to the test come Christmas morning.) I am pretty sure his Dad was just as excited to play with it as he was.
Although this product is recommended for those ages 8-12, it is clear that everyone in the family can get in on the fun in some capacity.
