Let me let you in on a secret – I’ve found that serving a kid-friendly charcuterie board is a perfect way to get your children to eat healthy snacks!

It’s also a wonderful treat to have available during playdates and parties with hungry kiddos.

What I really love about this particular kids’ grazing board is that it’s filled with an assortment of organic, healthy products with simple ingredients from Tom Thumb. All of these products are available in my area exclusively at Tom Thumb.  This is a sponsored post on behalf of Tom Thumb. All opinions are my own.

Snack Tray ideas for kids

For this kids’ grazing board, I opted to use O Organics® and Open Nature® products as well as fruits found at my local Tom Thumb. Did I mention I also used their super convenient grocery delivery to save me time?  I ordered everything from TomThumb.com after the kids went to bed and like magic, my groceries arrived at my doorstep the next morning!

To satisfy the variety of tastebuds, I included the following food items:

(Please note that some items contain nuts. Should someone at your home or playdate have a nut allergy, substitute that item for something else)

How to make a kid charcuterie board

Once you have your food items gathered, pull out your charcuterie board, and let the fun begin. There is no right or wrong way to make a snack tray for kids. I promise you they will be amazed no matter what. Every time I bring one out for my kids they marvel at the variety of snacks at their fingertips.

I always start my boards with the smaller containers filled items and fill out the board throughout. I love having some of the food items hanging off on the corners. Also, if I find an empty spot on the board, I simply fit it with a fruit item.

Make sure the variety of tastes and colors are spread out to your liking. I filled the jar with the almond butter near the fruit for easy access to dipping. Consider having Open Nature® compostable plates handy so the kids can pick what they want and enjoy nearby.

Making this clever snack tray is easy and super fun to make. I also feel good knowing I am serving quality snacks that have great value!

You can also find the items I included in this charcuterie board exclusively at the Albertsons Companies family of stores, including ACME Markets, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, Shaw’s, Star Market, United Supermarkets and Carrs/Safeway. Visit Albertsons.com/exclusivebrands or tomthumb.com/exclusivebrands to find a store near you and discover meal prep tips and recipe ideas.

With possible pandemic learning loss, I want ways to help her improve her critical thinking skills - especially when it comes to math. Have you heard of @EyeLevelEducation? They are one of the leading global supplemental education service with global networks of 20 countries.
Eye Level provides Math and English program based on self-directed learning instructions. With locations across the USA, they are available to help families across the nation. Not quite ready to come inside a learning location? No problem - Take advantage of Eye Level On Air!  Your child can receive the same coaching service from the instructor, with the same booklets - but at home.   My daughter finds the systematic Eye Level booklets and colored block math tools fun! Colored blocks help her master fundamental math concepts, including addition and patterning, multiplication, division, fractions and more. These hands-on manipulatives are boosting her confidence and making math fun for both of us - which is a win in my book!
