Thank you Goliath Games for sponsoring this post. Pick up your favorite game today to enjoy the holiday season and beyond!
Winter is here meaning kids are more likely to be inside the house – especially during the holiday break. As much as I love the time we have together, it can be challenging to keep kids entertained 24/7.
If I hear the words, “Mom, I am bored” one more time I might scream.
It can be tempting to turn on technology to please our children, but too much of television, tablets and internet is not a good thing for anyone.
There are simple indoor playdate ideas that don’t require technology!
Can you believe that?
The great news is that these ideas are extremely entertaining and some are educational. Double win for parents. Did I mention that many of the Goliath Games and Pressman Toys I am sharing with you today don’t require batteries. Triple win!
Introducing a simple indoor playdate:

Giggle Wiggle is a cute caterpillar with several hands to spare. You and your friends will quickly race to the top by placing your colored marbles starting from the bottom row of his hands all the way up to the top as he wiggles to the fun music. He will try to knock your marbles off as you are playing, but if he does… just pick them up and keep on racing! The first player to get all their marbles on in a row WINS! Pop the Pig
Pop the Pig® is an international preschool classic that is adored by millions of children. Kids love the suspense as they watch his belly grow; the player who makes his belly burst loses the game. Children can quickly reset this pig game with one pump of the pig’s head and experience consistent belly busting game-play each and every time
Players take turns rolling the die, feeding the pig, and pushing down on his head
Each pump makes his belly grow bigger, bigger and bigger until…POP!

Before you know it, the fox will lose his pants and the chickens will roll everywhere!
