Thank you Hilton Anatole in Dallas for the complimentary stay in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.
Tis the season for holiday family fun! There might be an abundance of Christmas events in DFW to choose from, but there’s nothing quite like celebrating Christmas at the Dallas Hilton Anatole. It’s the perfect staycation for families to celebrate the holidays distraction free.
5 Fun Things to do at the Hilton Anatole during the Holidays
There’s no shortage of fun at the Hilton Anatole. Here’s my top five things you must check out during your stay.
New this year, Peppermint Park is an outdoor holiday event that is host to shows, games, activities and crafts. Families can get their photo taken with Santa with packages starting at $25. It’s first come, first serve and the backdrop is one of the prettiest I have encountered. I absolutely love how our photos came out.
My daughter will tell you her favorite part of Peppermint Park was the train ride that took her throughout the venue. I definitely recommend doing this first so you can see all that the event has to offer.
Families can discover shows such as the Holiday Marionette Show seen below. Other performances include a Talking Christmas Tree and a Penguin Show.
There is limited tickets available for the public, but don’t miss your chance to stay overnight to experience the Ultimate Christmas Experience.
Access into the Hilton Anatole park is free, but participating in games, activities and train rides can either be purchased via the FunPasses listed below (in advance) or individually (upon arrival).
- Memory Maker Pass = $49.95
- FunPass = $29.95
Breakfast with Santa
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have breakfast with Santa! Nothing can compare to having a breakfast meal with the Big Guy himself. My daughter couldn’t quit smiling once he entered the room. The breakfast buffet offers items both adults and kids enjoy including an omelet bar.
There are currently two ways to have access to Santa during breakfast time:
Once individual tickets to Breakfast With Santa are sold out, access to it will only be available with with Breakfast With Santa package OR Grand Holiday Experience hotel package purchase.
- Adults = $53.00
- Kids 2-12 = $24
- Kids Under 2 = Free
- Guest room (*Late checkout at 1 p.m. is included.)
- Breakfast With Santa for up to two adults & two kids at 9 AM
- Holiday movie night
Geppetto’s Marionette Theater
Located inside the Hilton Anatole, Geppetto’s is a holiday experience you won’t want to miss! Geppetto’s Marrionette Theater’s holiday show features a cast of over 60 hand-carved marionettes. Children will delight as they meet the Winter Wizard, the North Pole dancing elves, the magic toys of Santa’s workshop and a whole host of other holiday favorites, including Rudolph and Frosty.
The Dallas Anatole is a large luxury hotel. Take time to explore the venue. You will stumbled upon magnificent holiday decor and impressive art that you can only find at the Anatole. There’s plenty of fun photo opportunities so make sure you have your camera handy. Chances are you will run into Rudolf and all the reindeers near Geppetto’s Marrionette Theater’s.
This is my third visit to the Hilton Anatole and every time I have enjoyed delicious food whether it’s at the bar, room service, SER or Jadewaters. During Christmas is no different. Peppermint Park offers delicious seasoning treats such as a S’mores Cone which was my favorite sweet to taste. Upon arrival we saw a Hot Chocolate bar complete with a variety of yummy toppings.
We ate dinner at the swank Media Grill + Bar located in the Grand Atrium. It’s a casual restaurant that offers an array of beers, cocktails and contemporary American cuisine for lunch, and dinner. (Side note and celebrity sighting: Gary Sinise ate here just minutes before we sat down for our meal).
Our stay concluded with the satisfying breakfast buffet meal with Santa. The perfect way to leave happy and with full tummies.
Did I mention how thrilled I was to not cook or clean for whole two days?
