Dinosaur lunch ideas for kids are here to make back to school lunches and snack time fun! I am the first to admit that I do not spend a lot of time creating elaborate snack ideas for my kids. Some days we are lucky to get out of the house in one piece. However, thanks to a partnership with Yummy Dino Buddies I found myself inspired to make a fun Dinosaur themed back to school lunch for my daughter. If I can do it, I know you can! This is a sponsored post on behalf of Mirum. All opinions are my own.
Simple Dinosaur lunch ideas that include Yummy Dino Buddies
Yummy Dino Buddies are made with boneless, skinless white chicken breast meat and are packed with protein and Omega-3. They go straight from the freezer to the dinner table in minutes. Super simple and easy to prepare.
With these chicken nuggets, it’s okay to play with your food. As you can see, my daughter had no problem playing with her food and eating all of it. I did not have to bribe her to eat all of her food because she did it on her own with the help of ketchup of course!
Easy dinosaur lunch ideas for kids
Yummy Dino Buddies are delicious and perfect on their own, but if you are wanting to add more veggies I have a few ideas.
Simple dinosaur lunch with veggies
For this simple dinosaur lunch, I added broccoli that looks like trees, Yummy Dino Buddies chicken nuggets, cucumbers cut like dino footprints, and bell peppers with ranch dressing. I may have had a few bites before sending it off to school.
An eggs-cellent lunch idea
For another kids lunch idea, I combined the nuggets with a dinosaur turkey sandwich to add variety. I found the dinosaur sandwich cutter at Kroger (where you can also purchase Yummy Dino buddies). I added a candy eye I had in my baking supplies. Then, I used a food writer to draw cracks on the hard boiled egg. For fruit, I added blueberries and raspberries. Veggies included red and yellow bell peppers, broccoli and cherry tomatoes.
