Instructions
Step one – Place a cotton ball in a clothespin. These will be your paintbrushes that you can use to dap the paint on the canvas. Next, pour paint on a paper plate.
Place adhesive foam hearts on the blank canvas.
Then, the fun part comes! Simply paint the canvas using the cotton ball swabs with different colors of paint. So easy your child can do this part. Don’t be scared of the paint touching the foam hearts because they will peel off once the paint dries.
Once the paint is dried, remove the foam hearts to reveal the silhouettes of the hearts.
We also made a larger 8×10 blank canvas with a big heart shape. When it dried, we decided to put her handprint in the middle of the heart. Isn’t it precious?
Let us know how your Kids Valentine’s Day canvas art comes out. Savor the memories because they grow up so fast!
