Imagine taking your baby to a movie without worry.

The Lewisville Drive-In Attraction North Texans Will Love
You most likely wouldn’t catch me at a movie theatre with my infant son, but you can catch me at the Coyote Drive-in Theater & Canteen Lewisville!
Open seven days a week, it’s the perfect place for family entertaining and a great option to consider for hosting a private party.
There’s a Coyote Fort Worth Drive-In showing hit blockbusters as well.

What to expect at Coyote Drive In Lewisville
Quality cuisine and plentiful drink selection
For adults, the Coyote Canteen has a wide variety of craft beers, domestic and imported beers along with carefully selected red and white wines plus champagne. The food menu includes movie classics like popcorn and candy along with more upscale dining options such as gourmet pizza and street tacos.
Kids can run wild on the outdoor playground and play yard games such as bean bag toss. Picnic tables are placed throughout to allow for outdoor dining. The people watching alone made for a fun time.
During our visit, Coyote Drive-In hosted a double feature of The Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Not only did they have the movies playing, they took it one step further and made the entire evening an event for the family. Activities before the movie showing included a hot air balloon ride, karaoke, costume contests and photos with Dorothy.
On some Texas nights, scenic views
As the sun began to set, I couldn’t take my eyes of the sky. I was happy to be outdoors instead of stuck inside. Simply being outside with our family is refreshing and calming. There is something nostalgic about watching your kids simply play outdoors.
Spending quality time with family
Whether you choose to see a classic film or a hot new movie release, you can spend quality time with those you love the most. I loved that we could be in public together watching a movie without fear of making others annoyed by our loud kids. Nobody cares because they all have kids. Also, it was a great place for me to breastfeed my son without fear of being ‘judged’.The privacy of my car was nearby but the dark environment made it easy for me to be discreet. Kudos to moms that are more bold than I am though when it comes to nursing in public. I am getting there!
I am happy to report we made it through dinner and one whole movie without tantrums or meltdowns! Guests aren’t required to stay for both movies, so we snuck out before the next showing.
We are in the baby and preschooler seasons of parenting, so we can take all the sleep we can get.
However, it was worth it to experience a movie night under the stars.
