Cotton Candy Party Favors are incredibly easy to make. The hard part is not eating all the cotton candy while you are making them. I will admit I did sneak a few bites and it was as good as I remembered it tasting. Quality control, right? These unique party favors would be great for any celebration including birthdays, baby showers, and wedding showers. These treats would also be perfect for a carnival themed celebration.
If you don’t have a cotton candy machine you will have to buy it somewhere.I am not going to lie, I struggled to find cotton candy. Apparently it wasn’t ‘in season’. I went to several local grocery stores and they said they did not carry cotton candy strangely enough. I was tempted to buy them on my Amazon Prime because I had given up the search until I took a random trip to the mall and discovered a random stand alone cotton candy kiosk. It was meant to be!
How to Make Cotton Candy Party Favors
Gather the supplies below to get the party favor stuffing fun started. You can make quite a few in no time at all.
Ribbon (I used Gold, but you can get creative with any ribbon color).
Ice Cream Cones (I’ve seen these also made with waffle cones and they are adorable as well!)
Simply place the empty ice cream cone in the clear bag. Fill with a handful of cotton candy and tie the top portion with a ribbon. Curl the ribbon with a pair of scissors and you have an adorable, unique party favor to hand out to guests.
Consider surprising someone special this Summer with these tasty treats. They will be blown away by the cuteness. Better yet bring them to the office to gain mad brownie points.
Warning: You may get a huge sugar rush so be sure to enjoy in moderation and not give them to your kids right before bedtime.
