With cooler temperatures around the corner, the fall season is a great time to make campfire s’more pops for your next camping trip or just because you feel like having a tasty treat. It’s super simple to make and delicious to eat. Not to mention, they are super cute!
How to make Campfire S’more Pops
Gather ingredients
Honey Graham Crackers
Jumbo Marshmallows
Plymouth Pantry Almond Bark Chocolate Baking Bar, 24 oz
Cooking Instructions
Follow the melting instructions that are written on the back of your chocolate bar. Most likely it will tell you to melt the entire bar for 1 minute and then in 15 second intervals. If you don’t want to make a lot of campfire s’more pops then only melt half and adjust the time. Keep a good eye on it and stir often. If you melt the chocolate too long it turns into a powder like substance instead of a melted mixture. I have heard that you can also put vegetable oil or coconut oil in the mixture to make it extra smooth.
Using a mini-food processor, break apart at least 5 full graham crackers and place it in the bowl. Chop until you have breadcrumbs. Set aside in a prep bowl.
Then, it’s as easy as 1-2-3.
First, dip the marshmallow in the melted chocolate making sure to cover the bottom and sides. Immediately dip it in the graham cracker breadcrumbs. Place on wax paper on a cookie sheet.
Continue to make more pops and set aside on cookie sheet. Once complete, put the marshmallows in your fridge for at least 10 minutes to get the chocolate to harden.
Take them out and place the skewers in the marshmallows. Serve and enjoy!
Looking back I should have put more chocolate on my marshmallows, but I think it’s still the perfect amount.
Everyone in my family enjoyed them. We didn’t go camping to enjoy them, but it sure got us excited about planning a camping trip soon. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve tent and cabin camping. Even if you are not fond of the great outdoors in a camping setting, you can enjoy the sweet taste of these Campfire S’more Pops. Enjoy!
