I have been compensated by JOHNSON’S® Baby for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own.
Choosing to cherish your kids’ bedtime routine is harder than it looks. Most days I am exhausted and at my whit’s end by the time dinner hits much less bath time.
Just when I think I am about to loss my mind, time stands still during bath time. No matter how much I rushed through the day, I try to pause to enjoy this daily ritual with my kids. My baby boy absolutely loves bath time. Even on his fussy days a good bath with JOHNSON’S® Baby products cures it all.
He loves to splash water, play with his rubber ducks, and laugh at his sister’s goofy gestures.
These are the moments that make up for the stressful and challenging times. Parenting is tough. Thank goodness for these sweet, simple moments.
Some nights our bedtime routine can feel mundane. On those nights where I feel myself going through the motions I remember these fleeting times are short lived.
One day I will wake up wishing for a time machine to relive these days.
Cherish Your Bedtime Routine
In a blink of an eye, my kids won’t need me as much.
In the future, my kids will turn into teenagers who escape to their rooms able to put themselves to bed.
Until then, I choose the cherish our bedtime routine no matter how crazy the day can be.
This season of life is exhausting and tests me in ways I did not know were possible. That said, I choose to cherish simple moments that mean the world to me.
During this season of life, I use JOHNSON’S® Baby products. Johnson and Johnson is a trusted brand that moms use generation after generation. I remember my own parents using them when I was a child.
My favorite JOHNSON’S® Baby products include:
- JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® baby bath and lotion
- JOHNSON’S® baby shampoo with the NO MORE TEARS® formula
- JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® extra moisturizing baby cream (for times he is really dry, thanks winter!)
Because parenting leaves me short on time, I use the grocery pick up option at Walmart. I order them online and they bring it out to my car for me during my time slot. It’s very convenient and I don’t have to get baby boy out of the car.
What are your mommy must haves during your bedtime routine? Do you cherish these sweet, simple moments that pass us by too quickly?
