How to make Halloween Candy Bark
Create a spooktacular candy bark that combines popular Halloween candy with pretzels and chocolate for one powerful taste.
Ingredients & Supplies
- 16 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup green melting candies
- 3/4 cup orange melting candies
- 1/2 cup M & Ms (Halloween variety pack)
- 1/2 cup chopped mini pretzels
- 8-10 Reese’s peanut butter cups (chopped)
- 8 Kit Kat bars cut into pieces
- Orange candy sprinkles
- Candy eyeballs
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. I love to use these pre-cut parchment paper sheets!
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl. First, heat for one (1) minute. Stir. Then, melt in 15-30 second increments in the microwave until smooth. Don’t overheat or the substance will turn chalky and not smooth.
3. Pour the chocolate mixture on top of the parchment paper. Using a spatula, spread the chocolate in one layer.
4. Then, melt the orange and green candies in the microwave similar to above. Using a spoon, pour the melted green and orange chocolate all over the top of the bottom chocolate layer.
5. Using a wooden stick spread the orange and green candy mixture to look like below. I went up and down, left, and right with the stick to mix the colors as shown in the photo.
6. Sprinkle the pretzels, chopped candy, and sprinkles on top of the chocolate.
7. Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until the candy bark is hardened.
8. Remove the cookie sheet from the refrigerator. Break up the candy bark with hands or cut using a knife to achieve smaller pieces.
9. Serve immediately or store to enjoy later!
