In less than 10 minutes, I was able to make this homemade Fruit Valentine craft and you can too! With the assistance of my daughter, we were able to make a Valentine’s Love Bug and Cupid using simple craft supplies and fruit!
My favorite is Cupid! Isn’t he cute?

Love Bug
Glue two eyes on the front. Using a glitter stick, place a dot of glitter beneath the eyes for the nose.
Attach one foam heart on one toothpick. Repeat. Then, stick in the top of the tangerine to look like antennas.
Last, glue a larger foam heart to the bottom of the tangerine to represent the bug’s feet.
Cupid
Glue eyes on tangerine using a glue gun. Draw a smile with a marker. Glue a foam heart on the bottom for the feet.
Next place a red foam heart on the end of a toothpick. Cut white foam to look like the end of an arrow. (Like an arrow) Attach to the other end of the toothpick. Then, using a small piece of white pipe cleaner bend it to look like the letter “M”. Glue it to the middle of the toothpick and glue the entire bow to the front side of the tangerine.
For the wings, cut two pieces of white foam paper and attach to the back of the tangerine. It’s that easy!
The hardest part is refraining from eating the Halos. Good thing we had a few on stand by to snack on.
