If you are looking for a treat to hand out to friends and family or just to make for yourself, feast your eyes on Valentine’s Day Puppy Chow. This no-bake Valentine’s Day recipe is simple and easy to make. It’s a very sweet treat so a little goes a long way. Depending on peanut butter allergies, you may or may not be able to bring this to school as a party favor treat. Also, I feel silly mentioning this but disclaimer: do NOT feed this to your dogs! It’s a cute name for a treat not an actual treat for animals! I thought everyone knew that until someone asked me that question!
Get your kids on in the fun, but beware they may sneak a few bites in here and there. (Okay, I admit – I did the same too! Just can’t help it!)
How to make Valentine’s Day Puppy Chow
Mix white chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter in a small bowl.
Melt in 30 second increments in microwave until smooth.
Place Chex Mix in a large bowl. Pour melted mixture into Chex Mix and stir until evenly spread.
Take half of the mixture and place in a gallon storage bag. Pour powdered sugar in bag. Secure the bag and shake it until the Chex Mix is fully coated with sugar.
Pour it out of the bag and spread on a cookie sheet with wax paper. Let dry for 15 – 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix the sprinkles and M&Ms in the other half of Chex Mix.
Combine with powdered sugar Chex Mix and Enjoy!
You now have a tasty Valentine’s Day Puppy Chow treat.
Place in treat bags, tie with a fun ribbon and consider placing a fun Valentine’s Day card with it.
I hope you enjoy eating this delicious sweet treat as much as we enjoyed making it! So simple and easy!
