Last week my daughter and I opened the Sally Hansen Airbrush legs lotion voxbox compliments of Influenster. Since the unboxing, I have had a chance to use the lotion that claims to be makeup for your legs. Let me tell you up front that my patience for self tanners is minimal and usually I give up on them after a few days of application because of streaks or dismal results.
With the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs lotion, I was pleasantly surprised because the results are INSTANT and there were very little if not any streaks on my legs!
On the left, you can see that I have very white legs. Glance to the right of the picture to see what my legs looked like after a long day of wearing Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs lotion. Pretty impressive and it isn’t too dark. The last thing I want to be called is, “Tan Mom”!
This lotion is legit and I will be using my $2.00 off coupon to buy a bigger bottle (Thanks Influenster). My only complaint is that the sample bottle is tiny. So tiny that I was worried the lotion would barely cover one of my short legs, but I found out that a little goes a long way. When I originally posted the picture below on my Instagram account, one person commented that she applied too much of the lotion on her legs and people thought she was wearing pantyhose! Yikes. I don’t remember the last time I wore pantyhose.
Here’s a simple guide to show you how I applied the lotion on my legs. Please bare with me on the quality of these photos – I had less than 5 minutes to put the lotion on and take a picture before it was time to head out to the door for my day.
The lotion is water resistant so it won’t come off when you sweat. I don’t work out right now, so I am not too worried about losing a tan while pumping some iron; However, I do live in Texas and we have had our share of blistering hot weather so I don’t want to sweat out tanning lotion all day either.
The lotion smells great! Some self tanners smell horrible and that is all you can think of when you are wearing them. Again, not the case with Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs!
Seeing that I have little time to lay out near the pool these days and winter is around the corner, I will definitely stock up on this lotion when I need some color on my legs.
Have you tried the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs lotion before? What’s your favorite self tanner?
