Life is incredibly busy! Throw the holidays and taking care of the family into the mix and it can be easy to forget to show love to your significant other. Keeping the passion through the busy season is very challenging as some days I am struggling just to make it through the day, but finding romantic ideas for busy couples like myself can be done with little bit of planning, creativity and products like K-Y® TOUCH®.
12 Days of Romantic Ideas for Busy Couples
Monday: Leave a special personalized note next to your partner’s coffee or morning drink to start each other’s week off on a good vibe.
Tuesday: Cook your special someone’s favorite meal or order in to save you time from cleaning and cooking. Double win!
Wednesday: Simply go for a walk together to refresh and avoid technology distractions to allow for conversation.
Thursday: Send your loved one something sweet or fun at their office or home. It’s the thought that counts. Extra points if it’s chocolate (for me anyways… hint..hint!)
Friday: Do nothing at all! Sounds like something an old married couple would enjoy, but sometimes I simply love to snuggle up to my husband and binge watch our favorite television series once our daughter goes down for the night. I won’t lie – sometimes we do fall asleep during our binge-watching, but sleep is also a gift that we both enjoy!
Saturday: Date Night at a Holiday Party ending with an intimate night using K-Y® TOUCH®.
Sunday: Work on a DIY project together that you have been putting off for months or years perhaps. Have you always wanted to paint a room, plant a garden or refinish a piece of furniture? Work together to create a unique masterpiece that you can both can enjoy. If that isn’t your cup of tea, do something sports related and enjoy some playful competition.
Monday: If you both work and are able to sneak away for a lunch date – do it! Sometimes that is the only time we are able to have a great conversation sans kids and we are able to enjoy and savor each bite that we take rather than scarfing down our food because our toddler is already done eating after two minutes! If one of you stays at home, visit the other at their workplace if you can to sneak away for a bite and to change up your routine.
Tuesday: Bust out old photos or home videos of special times in your relationship (your wedding, perhaps) and reflect on how far you have come together as a couple. Talk about your goals and ways to strengthen your relationship moving forward.
Wednesday: Wednesday is Hump Day! You get the point.
Thursday: It’s been a long week and you are exhausted waiting on the weekend to happen, take it easy and give each other a foot or back massage using K-Y® TOUCH® as a lubricant.
Friday: Congrats you survived the week! Make a toast with your drink of choice and cheers to finding ways to make your relationship better in a world full of temptations, stress and distractions.
Investing in your relationship is the best use of time anyone can make. It’s hard and tempting to not do so, but it’s important none the less.
When you are short on time and looking for some time with your special someone, products like K-Y® TOUCH® can help the process! By the way, I used this K-Y® TOUCH® $2 off coupon when I shopped for the product at Walmart.
This product is super easy to find and please don’t be embarrassed when you give it to the cashier. Remember, you are investing in strengthening your relationship with your main squeeze.
How will you plan for romance with your partner this Holiday season?
