This is the best banana pudding recipe I’ve ever come across. It’s also my mom’s recipe that we always requested as kids and still do as adults. It’s insanely addictive and delicious! This no-bake banana pudding is fairly simple. The end result is an easy dessert recipe your family will crave for years to come!
How to make banana pudding
Create this banana dessert recipe in minutes, chill in the Refridgerator for a few hours, and munch on it for days. It’s that easy!
Banana pudding ingredients
- 2 Boxes of Instant Vanilla Pudding, 3.4 oz
- 2 2/3 cup of Milk
- 1 can Eagle Brand Sweet Milk
- 1/2 of a regular container of Cool Whip
- 2/3 box Nabisco Vanilla Wafers
- 5 Bananas, sliced
Banana pudding recipe
Add pudding and the milk together in a bowl. Stir or beat until thick.
Add can of Eagle Brand Sweet Milk and Mix.
Fold in the Cool Whip (Remember only 1/2 of the container).
Place some pudding mixture in the bottom of your dish. I used a trifle bowl for my pudding, but you can also use a casserole dish or a Corning Ware (1.5 Qt.) Oval Casserole Baking Dish.
Start layering the cookies, sliced bananas, and pudding.
Repeat layers until you are out of materials.
End with pudding on top or you can top with extra Nilla Wafers like we did (see below).
Chill in the fridge for a few hours or overnight for the best results.
How long is banana pudding good for?
This quick banana pudding will stay good for about 4-5 days. The bananas slices will keep from browning if kept in an airtight refrigerator. The wafers do soften over time.
What should you serve with banana pudding?
We love to eat banana budding with any BBQ meal. My favorite dinner to serve it with is baked bbq chicken in the oven.
